This e-book reader offers a 6-inch, non-backlit display with E Ink technology, which, unlike LCDs, reduces eye strain and fatigue while reading. The PocketBook Basic 3 also allows you to change the font size, choose a font style, or set the screen orientation to landscape or portrait. The WiFi interface makes it easy to move digital content without having to connect to a PC.
With 8GB of memory that is expandable via the microSD memory card, you can create an extensive digital library with the PocketBook Basic 3. The reader supports more than 16 e-book formats; Besides the classic PDF, EPUB, DOC or DOCX formats, it also supports files in PDB format.
All basic content settings for the e-reader are facilitated by an English language menu and pagination buttons. The e-reader comes with some less traditional, yet convenient applications nonetheless, including an internet browser, calculator, calendar, photo viewer, and chess. The PocketBook Basic 3 is powered by a 1300mAh battery, which allows you to read up to 8,000 pages per charge.
